No matter what the circumstances of the marriage, divorce is always terribly painful and disruptive. He's likely to be confused and emotionally whipsawed for a long time to come. Also, think about it -- married men who date on the side are inherently LIARS. The chances of making a good relationship with someone in his situation are slim to none, and you're just asking for trouble by considering this guy. Michelle B. is right -- there are many single, available guys you could have. My advice to you is starting right now, create some integrity in yourself and make an iron-clad rule: NO MARRIED MEN! You'll feel a lot better about yourself.
